My story
"Killed in Action." This soldier after going over, with his company in the attack on Passchendaele, was wounded in the leg and arm by shrapnel. He started to walk out to the dressing station, but had only reached the point where the Battalion assembled preparatory to the attack, when he was wounded again, and died shortly afterwards.
