My story
"Killed in Action." While his Battalion was holding the front line trenches at Bellewaarde Lake he was buried in a fall of sand bags and breastworks, caused by enemy shell fire. On being extricated by comrades he was found to have sustained serious injuries and was sent to a dressing station, but while on the way to it was killed by machine gun fire.
