My story
The 8th battalion Duke of Wellington's (West Riding) Regiment was in attack on the 27th and 28th of August 1917. They attacked Pheasant trench, east of Langemark. The right was held up by heavy machine gun fire and the left had more success and could take part of Pheasant trench. Harold must have died during this attack.
