My story
On 1 August 1917 the 47th Machine Gun Company was ordered to rendez-vous in l’école. In 1915 the French mention an evacuation post in a little school near Verlorenhoek. Today there is a French Cemetery, St-Charles de Potyze. The rendez-vous place was along the road Potijze-Verlorenhoek.
