My story

On 22 June 1917 the 2nd Battalion Wellington Regiment took part in a nightly operation. Three platoons from Taranaki Company were to clear the ground between their posts (frontline) and the Armentieres-Warneton railway line (West of La Bass-Ville). The casualties were two men killed, one missing. Albert must have been one of them.
