My story
"Killed in Action." Was acting as an ammunition packer for the 1st Canadian Machine Gun Brigade, during operatons at Passchendaele. On the evening of November 7th 1917, he was detailed for a carrying party and when quite close to the front line gun positions, he was killed by a high explosive shell. There were no marks on the body, he having apparently been killed by concussion.
