My story
"Killed in Action." The Company to which he belonged moved from the support line to the front line South West of Passchendaele, on the night of October 31st/ November 1st 1917, and after the relief was completed Private Peters was sent on outpost duty in a railway cutting. Whilst there he was hit in the head by shrapnel from enemy shell and instantly killed.
