My story
"Killed in Action." While in a support trench held by his Regiment at Bellewaarde Lake, near Ypres, he was hit in the head by a rifle bullet and instantly killed. At the time of his death he was attached to the signalling section as linesman, and was assisting his comrades in carrying ammunition.
