Mijn verhaal
"Killed in Action." In the afternoon of the 31st October, 1917, he was attending to some work in connection with a machine gun that necessitated his being exposed with the result that he was instantly killed by an enemy shell. This occured during a heavy enemy bombardement near Passchendaele.
