Mijn verhaal
"Killed in Action." On the 29th October 1917, he was on duty with a pack train party leading a mule loaded with ammunition towards the front line. As they were proceeding along the Zonnebeke Road, and when about 200 yards from the point where the road crosses the Ypres-Roulers Railway, an enemy shell exploded near by, and Private Jordan was instantly killed at about 5 o'clock in the evening.
