Mijn verhaal
"Killed in Action." He was one of a party detailed for consolidation work on the night of the 12th and morning of 13th June, 1916, when the Battalion recovered the lost trenches on Observatory Hill. He was killed by the explosion of an enemy shell and buried in the upheaval. His body was recovered within half an hour of the occurrences on 13th June, 1916.
