Mijn verhaal
On the 4th of October 1917, Lieutenant Herbert Cecil Ainger's plane went missing. Later, a message was dropped by a German aeroplane stating that Lieutenant Ainger was dead. Exactly what and where it happened remains unclear. Herbert Cecil Ainger is remembered at Arras Flying Service Memorial.
