Mijn verhaal
On the 17th of October, the 5th battalion of the King's Shropshire Light Infantry was located at the support trenches North of the Menin Road (J14 d.90.20). There was very active enemy artillery, and gasshells fell in the vicinity of the Battalion Headquarters (J14 d.90.20). It was probably during these attacks that private Samuel Andrews died.
