Mon histoire

Edward Cave Freeman was an assistant postman born in Cambridge, UK. Rifleman Freeman was part of the 1/8th Battalion London Regiment (Post Office Rifles), 140th Brigade, 47th Division. Around the 19th of July 1917 his battalion was doing tours of line duty in front of Hooge and its old sector with headquarters near Spoilbank.
