Mon histoire
"Killed in Action." On the night of October 30th, 1917, he went forward with his Battalion from supports into the front line at Passchendaele. On November 1st, the enemy put over a heavy barrage and Pte. Martin who was at the time on Outpost duty in a shell hole was struck on the head by a shell fragment and instantly killed.
