Mon histoire
From the 19th of July 1917 to the 24th of July 1917, the 10th Battalion of the The Queen’s (Royal West Surrey) Regiment was at camp in the Westoutre area (M.8.c.1.4.). At the camp, the 10th Battalion did some training practice in the attack. During this training, 4 soldiers were killed, and 6 soldiers were wounded. Private David Isaac Andrews was one of the wounded, and he died of his wounds on the 24th of July 1917.
