Mijn verhaal
Albert Edward Kinson was de zoon van Ellen en James Kinson. Hij werd geboren omstreeks 1897 in Ozleworth, Gloucestershire. Voor de oorlog werkte hij als landarbeider. Albert maakte deel uit van het 20th Battalion Royal Fusiliers (City of London Regiment) (19th Brigade, 33rd Division).
Albert sneuvelde op 28 november 1917 in de nasleep van de Slag bij Passendale. Op 27 en 28 november lostte Albert’s eenheid de 1/5th Scottish Rifles af in het frontgebied ten zuiden van Passendale. Op 28 november doodde een hevig Duits spervuur 51 mannen van het 20th Battalion Royal Fusiliers.
Albert stierf op 20-jarige leeftijd. Zijn lichaam werd na de oorlog teruggevonden nabij Vienna Cottages, Passendale. Albert werd herbegraven op Tyne Cot Cemetery, waar hij zijn laatste rustplaats vond.
