Mijn verhaal
In the attack on 6 November 1917 the 27th Canadian battalion (together with the 31st and 28th Canadian battalion) was to take the village of Passchendaele. Frederick was killed instantly by a shell at Passchendaele en was buried just behind the new frontline (Sheet 28.D.6.d.3.8.). After the war he was reburied at the Tyne Cot Cemetery.
