Meine Geschichte

'A' company of the 5th battalion South Wales Borderers was widening and deeping a trench near Preston Road Extension. Albert was wounded during his work and was to be taken back to a hospital. Near the Locre Hospice Cemetery, field ambulances were stationed in the Convent of St. Antoine. Albert probably died of his wounds before a field ambulance could take him to the hospital and was buried there on the cemetery.
